Acer just announced a new netbook line-up in 4 bright colors: Candy Pink, Lavender Purple, Lime Green and Hawaii Blue.
Dual-booting Windows 7 and Android InstantOn, the netbooks seem geared towards mobility and travel: 8 hours of battery life, webcam and microphone, interchangeable AC adapters and all the connectivity you can dream of (Fast Ethernet, WiFi, optional 3G, Bluetooth).
Thin (only 24mm) and light (1.25 kg with a 6-cell battery), the Acer One Happy boasts a 10.1″ 16:9 WSVGA high-brightness, LED-backlit display (1024 x 600). Under the hood is up to 2GB of RAM, Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 3150, a 250 GB internal hard disk, a built-in multi-in-one card reader, and a choice of either the Intel Atom N450 or the dual-core Intel Atom N550 processors.
The Aspire One Happy is available in the UK for £249.99 (roughly 280 euros or 390$), and no word yet on when (if?) it will be released in the US.
