Dell has announced the 2011 Vostro lineup
Dell has announced the 2011 Vostro affordable small-business notebook lineup, including the 13.3-inch Vostro 3350, 14″ 3450, 15.6″ 3550, and 17.3″ 3750.
The new Vostro laptops feature the 2nd Generation Intel Core dual- and quad-core “Sandy Bridge” processors, integrated Intel GMA HD graphics or optionally offered switchable GPU technology with AMD Radeon and Nvidia GeForce dedicated video cards, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, up to 750GB hard drive or optional 128GB solid state drive, a DVD burner or Blu-ray combo drive, LED-backlight anti-glare displays, and “12 hours” of battery life on select models.
Dell emphasizes collaboration capabilities of the new notebooks, which have 720p web cameras, digital array microphones, pre-installed Skype and a customizable dashboard button for launching of VoIP applications.
There are also a chiclet-style keyboard with optional backlight, optionally built-in mobile broadband, stereo speakers, a pair of USB 3.0 ports, and an HDMI connector.
The notebooks have an aluminum finish with choice of Aberdeen Silver, Lucerne Red and Brisbane Bronze colors, and Windows 7 OS.
The Dell Vostro 3350, 3450, 3550, and 3750 will be available starting on March 22, with basic prices of $599, $499, $499, and $549, respectively.
Lenovo ThinkPad T420, T520 Now Available in the US market
The new Variant notebooks by Lenovo, ThinkPad T420 and ThinkPad T520 are now available in the US market.
Both the notebooks are available with the configurations of i3 Core 'Sandy Bribge' processors and integrated Graphics.
The 14-inch T420 is available in the market for the base price of $799 and the 15.6-inches T520 is available for $819.

Samsung introduces X180 Barbie Special Edition notebook in South Korea
Samsung today announced new Barbie notebook targeting the female crowd. THe notebook is launched taking in account the success of the Samsung's first barbie Edition in Korea. This time it’s the X180 Barbie Special Edition 2 that comes in a white hue with a Barbie girl designed by Barbie’s chief designer, Robert Best.
We didn't catch the full specifications yet but as per Samsunghub the new X180 Barbie edition is of 1.61 kg in weight, comes with an Intel processor, 500GB HDD, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and more.

Toshiba Announces New Android Tablet
The unnamed device is positioned in high-end tablet segment and features a 10.1-inch 1,280×800 multitouch display, dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, a front 2MP and back 5MP web camera, 3G mobile broadband, 802.11n Wi-Fi, and a full size HDMI and USB 2.0 port.
The tablet will have access to the Google Android Market.
Toshiba’s next generation tablet will be available in Europe, the Middle East and Africa during the first half of 2011. There’s no word on pricing and availability in other regions.

Fujitsu finally unveiled the first MeeGoo Netbook known as LifeBook MH330.

Motorola Xoom Android Honeycomb Tablet Gets Pricing In The US
Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha has finally announced the US pricing for their upcoming Android Honeycomb tablet, the Motorola Xoom. According to the CEO, the XOOM tablet will be sold for $799 (WiFi + 3G model) or $600 (WiFi-only model). To remind the specifications, the Xoom comes with a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 touchscreen display, a 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor, a 2.0-megapixel front-facing camera, a 5.0-megapixel rear-facing camera with dual LED flash, a 1GB DDR2 RAM, a 32GB of storage space, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, 720p HD video recording capabilities, 1080p Full HD video playback support and runs on Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS. The device itself will start shipping in the US at the end of this month via Verizon Wireless.
Toshiba has announced the Satellite R800 series Laptops
The new Satellite laptops feature “Intel’s latest full-performance CPUs”, a slim design, new cooling technology, USB 3.0, HDMI, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, and a built-in optical drive. The R830 has a magnesium alloy casing, while the R840 and R850 sport new High Stiffness Resin cases.
The company has also revealed that the R830 and R840 have up to 8GB RAM, up to 640GB hard drive space, a built-in webcam, 1,366 x 768 LED-backlight displays, and a battery life of up to 8.5 and 8 hours, respectively.
Toshiba’s Satellite R800 notebooks are estimated to be available during the second quarter 2011 throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa. There’s no info on pricing and availability in other parts of the world. Toshiba, however, says that the laptops will be affordable.
