Samsung launches ST65 digital camera in South Korea



Samsung has announced ST65 point-and-shoot digital camera for the South Korean market. The ultra-slim ST65 features a 14.2MP sensor and 27mm wide angle lens with 5X optical zoom.

ST65 also comes with digital image stabilization, Face Recognition, different shooting modes and 720p HD video recording support.

ST65 will be available in four different colors for 219,000 won.

Canon introduces two new compact cameras with the PowerShot SX230HS and IXY 31S


Today Canon introduced two new compact camera to its line-up with the compact yet powerful PowerShot SX230HS, a 12.1MP Camera with a new HS sensor where HS stands for High Sensitivity, DIGIC 4, the same technology behind the S95 and G11 for example and a nice 14x optical Lens. The S230HS also comes with a 3” screen, SD, SDHC and SDHX Support and an ISO Speed ranging from 100 to 6400. The IX31S, also comes with a 12.1Mpix HS Sensor and Canon’s DIGIC 4 image engine, a 4.4x optical Zoom and a 3.2” Touchscreen. Both models come with HD Video and a set of different photo mode and creative photo mode.

Ricoh’s new CX5 Digital Camera



Ricoh’s annouced the new CX5 DigitalCamera. It comes with a 10Mpix censor, 10.7x optical Zoom, a new fast AF thanks to Ricoh’s latest hybrid AF capable to give you a correct focus in just 0.2 seconds.
The CX5 also pack a 28mm wide lens, an ISO Speed up to ISO3200, a 720p video mode, 40MB of internal memory and support of SDHC as well as Eye-Fi cards.

Panasonic announces the Lumix DMC-FH5/S1, Rugged DMC-FT3, DMC-TX20 and DMC-FX77 Cameras in Japan




This morning Panasinic annunced its five new compact point and shoot lumix with the Lumix DMC-FH5/S1, Rugged DMC-FT3 (TS3 in North America), DMC-TZ20 (ZS10 in North America) and DMC-FX77 (FX78 in North America).

Lumix DMC-FH5

This DMC-FH5 comes with a 16.1 Mpix Censor, a 4x optical Zoom and 28mm Wide angle lens, Mega O.I.S, an ISO Speed up to ISO 6400, Ai Photo mode and iA Zoom. The FH5 comes with 70Mb of internal memory, SDXC Support and a 720/24p video mode.

Lumix DMC-S1

The DMC-S1 camera comes with a 12.1 Mpix Censor, Mega O.I.S, a 4x optical Zoom, an ISO Speed up to ISO 6400, Ai Photo mode, comes with 20Mb of internal memory, SDXC Support and a 720/30p video mode

Lumix FT3 (TS3 in North America)

The FT3 camera comes featuring a GPS and Full HD Video mode (1080/30p or 720/60p).
This model comes with a 12.1 Mpix censor with a 4.6x optical Zoom, a waterproof/Shocproof/Freezeprodd and Dusproof body, and unique 3D mode that will snap 20 shots at the same time and take the best of two in order to overlay them and produce 3D like picture for you.

Lumix TZ20 (ZS10 in North America)

The Z20 also features the FT3 3D photo mode, but comes with a 14.1Mpix censor and 16x optical Zoom with a 24mm wide angle, a 10fps burst mode, a 3″ touchscreen and a 1080p Video mode.

Lumix FX77 (FX78 in North America)

Finally the FX77 comes with a 12.1Mpix censor, a 3.5″ touchscreen with Touch Zoom, AF Tracking and Shutter playback, the 3D Mode found on the FT3 and TZ20, MEGA O.I.S and a Full HD AVCHD Video mode.
