NTT, one of Japan’s main mobile provider, has released its very own tablet, the Hikari iFrame, which we talked aboutlast year. This little Android 2.1 device features: a 7-inch touchscreen (800×480), Wi-Fi IEEE802.11b/g, USB port, SD card slot, internal speakers, and digital picture frame/alarm clock function functions. It’s worth mentioning that while users will have access to 50 apps and paid iFrame specific content ($2.50 monthly), they also won’t be able to download any third-party apps from Android Market (Personally, that’s an instant deal-breaker).
It measures 21×199×18mm for 430g. Available November 25 for $290 or $3.80/month (rental).
