Verizon fortified its once-weak Android arsenal with a string of successively more capable Droids through the spring and summer, but the Samsung’s Fascinate arguably trumped them all when it arrived in September. A heart-racing Hummingbird processor, picture-perfect OLEDdisplay and 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording all made it one of the most capable Android devices yet.
