Sony Ericsson PlayStation, may be in the next week???

According to Digitaltrends, Sony may unveil its Playstation Phone in Barcelona, next week. There is no hint from Sony yet about this smartphone, but if they are planning this then we can piece together a look at what the phone may be capable of. 

From all reports, the phone seems to be similar to the PSP GO, with a modified chipset and an Android Gingerbread OS. It will feature a touchscreen design, but also contain a slide out section that will feature a directional pad, four buttons, and what appears to be a touch pad. Of course, the “alleged” phone could very easily just be a prototype design, and the final model could look totally different. Assuming that there is a PlayStation Phone at all.

Sony must be planning a big announcement at the Mobile World Congress, and it has been generally assumed that Sony will finally admit to the world that the PlayStation Phone exists. If that is indeed the case, look for Sony to pull back the curtain on January 27.
