Dell Vostro V130 – Because You Asked for More

Dell seems to take criticisms very seriously; case in point is when it was pointed out that their Vostro laptop line lacks an HDMI port. In response, Dell didn’t just add an HDMI on their latest addition to their Vostro family but they also added an extra USB 2.0 port and a SIM card slot. The new Dell Vostro V130, like its predecessors, is tailor made for the businessman on-the-go. It combines nothing but only the best in style, form factor, durability and security.

You can’t ask for a sexier laptop as this 13-inch supermodel simply measures 0.65 in. front and 0.78 in. back. It’s also amazingly light for its size with base models starting only at 3.5 lbs. Don’t underestimate the thin and light appearance though, it’s made from a durable aluminum further reinforced with zinc hinges and magnesium alloy palm rest to help it survive daily abuse. Underneath the tough exterior is another world’s first from Dell, the Vostro V130 is the first ultra-thin laptop that will offer Intel’s advanced Hyperbaric Cooling technology that helps keep the system running at optimal temperature – quietly.

The V130 will run on Windows 7 and a choice of an Intel Core i3 or i5 ULV processor making it a very powerful business solution. Other specifications are 13.3-inch High Definition WLED display, full sized keyboard, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi and optional WiMAX technology in US territories. The new Dell Vostro will be available in Lucerne Red and Aberdeen Silver starting at $429.00.
