Known for its rugged phone series, Sonim Technologies has announced its latest rugged phone called “Sonim XP3300 Force”. The new rugged phone inherits the ruggedness feature from its other siblings. It is IP-68 rated and protected against water / dust, salt, fog, humidity, transport shock, and thermal shock.
“The XP3300 FORCE takes Sonim’s legendary ruggedness to the enterprise segment,” said Bob Plaschke, CEO of Sonim Technologies. “There’s no question it’s a power tool of communications. We continue to dream up new ways that showcase how Sonim’s handsets stretch the limits of phone engineering such as submerging it in an antifreeze mixture, dropping it from 30 meters and casting it in concrete.”
The Sonim XP3300 Force also has an impressive long talk time on spec sheet. You will get up to 24 hours of talk time with this phone, or a 26 hours GPS connection time for GPS Tracking . As for the photography, it is certainly not a main focus on this rugged phone. It comes with 2 megapixel camera, assisted with a LED flash for low light photography.
