Samsung Galaxy K Launches in South Korea

South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung has just announced the launch of a new handset in its home land, namely the Samsung Galaxy K. The new smartphone is powered by Google's Android 2.2 Froyo operating system and should be released on KT's airwaves.
According to a recent article on Samsung Hub, the new device is expected to arrive on the market in two color versions, namely white and black.
As for price tag, it appears that the new Samsung Galaxy K would go for 800,000 won (US$716), though the wireless carrier might also put in place various contract options for it.
The Samsung Galaxy S already proved to be a highly successful Android-based device all around the world (including the US or South Korea), and the availability of more variants should help the mobile phone maker boost sales even more.
