Toshiba is ready to release a new 3D notebook in the Japanese market, the Dynabook T551. Based on the second generation Intel Core “Sandy Bride” processor family, this laptop features a 2.0GHz Intel Core i7-2630QM quad-core processor with a 1GB nVidia GeForce GT 540M graphics card, up to 8GB DDR3 memory, a 750GB hard drive, a Blu-ray drive and a 15.6-inch 120Hz 3D panel with HD resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. The new Toshiba Dynabook T551 also provides a Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11n WiFi, a webcam, HDMI and USB 3.0 ports. Toshiba will release this Windows 7-powered laptop in February 2011. No word on pricing so far.
