Samsung SHW-A175S coming soon to South Korea

Samsung is expected to release SHW-A175S touchscreen phone in its home market. The phone as you can see resembles Samsung’s Android phone Gem but in this case, the phone does not run the Android OS.
The phone will be launched via SKT and feature a 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen display (240×400), 3G support, Haptic UI, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC support, 3.2MP camera, GPS, SOS, T-DMB, 3.5mm headphone jack, Subway maps and microSD card slot up to 16GB.
No word on the pricing or availability.

Nokia X7

Nokia also get into the news with leaks of its new Symbian^3 OS device X7. There have been some leaks already popped out of the internet rumor mill about the Nokia X7. But the new leaks revealed full specifications as well as some new photos of the phone.

Some of the revealed specs include:

• 360 x 640 pixels, 4.0 inches 
• 450 MB, 256 MB RAM 
• 8 MP, 3264×2448 pixels 
• Symbian^3 OS 
• ARM 11 680 MHz processor, 3D Graphics HW accelerator

The leaked pictures have confirmed that the phone will be having an 8MP camera with HD video recording. But with a fixed-focus, 8MP is really useless. So the camera thing is no more an attraction for the upcoming X7. However, as it will run on Symbian^3 OS so the multi-touch ability is a plus point. The onscreen keyboard looks pretty nice and wile b easy to use even with fingers.
There is no official announcement of the device and hence no pricing information is available too. However, Nokia must have to keep this phone in medium range in order to make it a success as there is a flood of smartphones with dual-cores and very high resolution touch screens. It is very hard for phones like X7 to compete in impending trends.
