The Beacon from Griffin will turn your iPhone into a universal remote control. This gadget pairs with the Dijit Universal Remote app, which allows you to control your A/V systems via Dijit’s Programming Guide. This app also allows you to change channels, volume, input, program your PVR, and lots more. The Griffin Beacon will be released in May 2011 for £54.99 ($87).
