The Hunt is On with the New Acer Aspire Predator AG3600

The new Acer Aspire Predator Series pack just grew larger as the new AG3600 joins its AG7750 and AG5900 brethren. Made for casual gamers, the Acer Aspire Predator AG3600-U4082 is not exactly tailored to be the next alpha male of gaming PCs but with its interesting and budget friendly price to performance ratio – it’s bound to be a crowd favorite. Gamers can definitely feel the thrill of the hunt with this PC’s specs that include a powerful Core i5 2300 processor loaded with Intel’s new architecture, H67 chipset and Turbo Boost 2.0 Technology, 8GB of DDR3 memory and NVIDIA GeForce GT 420 graphics, as well as a whooping 1.5TB hard-drive. Thanks to the powerful GT 420 graphics card, the Aspire Predator AG3600 is ready for dynamic 3D gaming. Gamers simply need to add a 3D monitor and a 3D package composed of special wireless glasses and advanced software to transform their favorite games into an immersive 3D experience. Even better, they can take advantage of the next-generation gaming architecture courtesy of Microsoft DirectX 11 support.

On the outside, this midrange gaming PC features a sleek black chassis with bright orange strip accents and a noticeable G-shaped air vent that stands for “Gaming”. The top of the chassis with the various I/O ports and power button is slightly angled at 45 degrees for accessibility. Acer also left AG3600-U4082 room for improvement, an extra hard disk drive bay, three open PCI Express x1 slots, ten 10 USB 2.0 ports (four on top, six in back), three audio jacks as well as mini HDMI, DVI and D-SUB ports are made available for expansion options. The Acer Aspire Predator AG3600-U4082 is priced at $899.
