T-Mobile to Start Offering Galaxy S 4G from February 23

Announced early this month, the Samsung Galaxy S 4G will be available from February 23 this month. As what you can see from its name, the Android smartphone has the same design as the original Samsung Galaxy S. It supports the additional 4G wireless data connection, up to HSPA+ 21 Mbps can be archived theoretically. T-Mobile will offer the device for $149.99 with a 2 years service contract.

T-Mobile makes two big announcements Today

 

T-Mobile had two announcement today, and just one of them would be a big deal. As it is, they are both a big deal.
The first is that the Galaxy S 4G (pictured right) is coming to the carrier this month. It is a sequel to the Vibrant, but with the largest 4G network (21 mbps HSPA+) with Android 2.2 (Froyo).
The second announcement has to deal with the coming of the G-Slate. It’s not like it wasn’t announced at CES 2011, but it definitely will have Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) as well as built-in support for 3D graphics, allowing for 3D video and experience 3D content on the device, with 3D glasses. The Galaxy S 4G for T-Mobile allows for streaming on a mobile HD TV, Video chat with Qik, and pre-loaded with the film Inception.
About the G-Slate’s 3-D capability, it has an 8.9 inch screen (1280 x 720), an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, HDMI port, rear camera with five Megapixels, 32GB internal storage, as well as the 4G connectivity of the aforementioned Galaxy S.

Dell Streak 7 launches on Feb. 2,2011 for $200

T-Mobile will launch the Dell Streak 7 on Wednesday, February 2 for $199.99. That price, announced today on the company’s website, is of course only available to customers willing to sign a new two-year contract and send in a $50 mail-in rebate. For those who just want the tablet without signing a new agreement, it’ll cost $450 — still cheaper than the comparable Samsung Galaxy Tab, which runs around $600.

The price confirmation comes after earlier rumors that the 4G-enabled Streak 7, which is powered by the NvidiaTegra-2 chip and runs on Android 2.2 operating system, would cost $330.

Dell’s newest tablet comes loaded with a 7-inch multi-touch screen, 16GB of storage, GPS built-in, and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera that’s compatible with T-Mobile’s Qik-powered video chat functionality. 

T-Mobile is set to release the Dell Streak 7 tablet on February 2 for $200 with a new two-year contract.

Samsung will develop Sidekick 4G

Sidekick 4G will be arrive along with Galaxy S 4G is now confirmed by T-Mobile. But little did we know that the Sidekick was actually developed by Samsung.
A leak at TmoNews has confirmed that the new messaging device will be manufactured by the Korean giant.
Apart from the manufacturer confirmation, the phone will retain the same Sidekick form factor but will support 4G network and run on Android 2.2.1.

Samsung Galaxy S gets Official

Samsung Has officially announced its Galaxy S. This Android smartphone will be available via T-Mobile in USA, which support T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network that can give data speeds to up to 21Mbps.

The specifications of this mobile are not yet revealed but its comfirmed that it will run Android 2.2 and have AMOLED touchscreen display.

Expected to ve available in the next few weeks, Streak 7 will be available via T-Mobile retail stores, www.t-mobile.com as well as from Dell directly. Just a re-cap, Dell Streak 7 sport a 7-inch 800 x 480 pixel capatitive multi-touch display with Gorilla glass and build based on Nvidia Tegra 2 platform with a 1GHz dual core processor and 16GB onboard memory.Streak 7 running Android 2.2 Froyo and featuring WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, optional T-Mobile’s 4G smnd 3G support, a 1.3MP webcam, a 5MP rear facing camera and a microSD card slot. T-Mobile slaps $400 price tag on Samsung's Galaxy Tab

Deutsche Telekom-owned T-Mobile USA has this week whipped the covers off the Galaxy Tab, becoming the first U.S. telecommunications company to carry Samsung's touch-screen tablet computer.

Core specifications connected to the Galaxy Tab include version 2.2 of Google's Android operating system, the 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor, a 7.0-inch WSVGA display (1024 x 600), a multi-touch interface, 16GBs of internal memory, and up to eight hours of single charge operation.

Other contributing aspects include memory expansion via microSD (up to 32GBs), video chat support thanks to a front-facing 1.3 mega-pixel camera and a rear-facing 3.0 mega-pixel camera, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, and support for Adobe Flash 10.1 and the SWYPE virtual keyboard.

Available from November 10 through the T-Mobile online store and walk-in outlets, the Galaxy Tab will be carried via the company's “super-fast” HSPA+ broadband network. It will also include support for Samsung Media Hub, Qik Video Chat, Kindle for Android, and Slacker Radio.

Attached to a two-year service contract, the Samsung Galaxy Tab will cost $400 USD through T-Mobile—after a $50 USD mail-in rebate—undercutting the recent $600 USD purchase price announced by Verizon Wireless
