Samsung Galaxy Tab Launches in India!






Samsung has today launched its much awaited Galaxy Tab in the Indian market for a price point of Rs 38000. So here s a quick look at what this 7-Inch beauty has to offer.

For starters, I am proud to say that India is one of the first 3 markets where Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab and it s powered by none other than the latest version of the Android OS which is Android 2.2. Launched at the press event by none other than Gul Panag, Samsung claims that the device has been customized for the Indian Market.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab boasts of a large array of features. For starters it has a 7-inch TFT LCD screen and weighs a mere 385gms. It possesses a rear 3MP auto focus camera along with a 1.3MP front facing camera for video conferencing. It possesses great wireless speeds with 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0.

Under the hood the device has a Cortex A8 1.0GHz application processor which gives it the ability to playback HD videos with ease. The Galaxy tab supports a wide range of multimedia formats namely DivX, XviD, MPEG4, H.263 and H.264 for your entertainment on the go.

The device is fueled by a 4000mAH battery which gives it about 7 hours of video playback and about 11 days of standby time. The device boasts of storage capacity of 16GB expandable of up to 32GB.
