Sony introduces new Vaio C Series of laptops with 14 inches LED Backlight 1366x768 multipurpose notebook.
The notebook will available in five different polish colors - Pink, Orange, Lime Green, White and Black. The notebook features Intel Core i5-2410M processor, 4 GB RAM, 320 GB HDD, AMD Radeon HD 6470M, a DVD Super Multi, Wlan, USB 3.0, Bluetooth and HDMI 1.4a with 3D Support allowing you to play 3D Video and Video Games from your Laptop on your 3D Compatible TV.

The latest VAIO C Series showcases a radical style direction by Sony that stands out from run-of-the-mill notebook PCs. A choice of fashion colours include two special orange and green ‘light emitting’ options. Available in 17 and 25” these OLED monitors brings to professional hyper accurate color reproduction as well as perfect image quality without motion blur when working of fast speed object like during sport event for example.

Sony Bravia Monolithic HDTVs

Sony today introduced a trio of new Monolithic Bravia full HDTVs, the 22-inch KDL-22EX42H, 32-inch KDL-32EX42H and 40-inch KDL-40EX42H. These HDTVs comes equipped with Sony’s Edge LED panel and a 500GB of internal HDD. The Sony Bravia Monolithic is able to record videos on an external Drive via USB port. These TVs comes with a full HD resolution panel on the 40-inch only, while the 32-inch and 22-inch comes with a 1366×768 panel. The Sony Bravia Monolithic will be available in Japan in March 2011.

Sony Partners with Global HID for the First Global Laptop Reader

Sony and Global HID finally comes together to minimize the requirements in development and speed up manufacturing schedules of all PC makers. The result of the strategic partnership is the Global Laptop Reader, an embedded contactless card reader. This reader will be able to read Sony’s FeliCa™, HID’s Global iCLASS®, NFC, and all other laptop technologies in the industry. This great innovation is expected to be out in the market by the end of this year.

The Global Laptop is going to be a hit as there is more than 315 million Felica cards users around the world plus another 67 million mobile phones that are Felica compatible. Smaller and Lighter than Ever – New Sony Vaio Y Series

Japan just got its own “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids!” sequel, it’s called “Honey, We Just Shrunk the Sony Vaio Y Series!”. And like any good anime or game titles, Japan gets to hold it first while the rest of the world wait drooling in anticipation. What’s there not to get excited about? Sony just managed to slash off a few inches and a few pounds on their Vaio Y series without cutting out on the specs. The new Y-series just got trimmed down to a mere 11.6 inches from 13.3, and it now only weighs roughly around 1.3 kg. The best part is that it gets to keep its 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium OS, 1.33 GHz Core i3-380UM processor, 2 GB of RAM, 320 GB hard drive, Intel HD graphics, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and webcam. It’s a tall order and borders on the insulting to call the new Y-series a netbook especially when it has all the makings of a fully pledged laptop bonus the scaled down size.

The 11.6-inch LED display manages to squeeze in 1366×768 resolution that perfectly complements the smaller screen. Sony also managed to add their signature chiclet keyboard. The other features that come standard with the new Vaio Y Series are gigabit LAN, USB slots, integrated card reader, and HDMI output for easily sharing multimedia contents over HDTV. Basic configuration can operate for 6 hours on raw battery power which is pretty standard. Getting an extended battery can push the power up to 11 hours but it adds to the overall weight of the laptop. No words yet on international availability but it should be well worth the wait.

Sony launches second generation PSP named NGP

Sony has finally showcased the second generation PlayStation portablegaming console.
They have named it NGP on the likes of Next Generation Portable gaming console.
The device is a solid update with pretty impressive hardwarespecifications.

The company said that the games for this new device would focus on several new generation technologies:

Location-based Entertainment,
Converging Real,
Virtual (augmented) Reality

It remains compatible with their PlayStation Suite and would also support older PSP games.
The device comes loaded with a quad core ARM Cortex-A9 processor. Display is 5 inches OLED capable of 960 x 544 resolution. It also featuresdual analog sticks for game control. Network support includes 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS. It also comes equipped with a touchpad at the backside. Sony had also put in smartphone features like accelerometer and gyroscope motion sensing along with a digital compass! There are two cameras as well!
Sony added that this console would support a brand new storage format for games. So they have pretty much discarded UMD.

Sony introduces three new headphones in Japan

Yesterday Afternoon,Sony introduces its three more headphone with the High-end overhead MDR-XB1000, and the in hear MDR-XB41EX and MDR-XB21EX.
The MDR-XB1000 comes with a luxury overhead headphone, featuring a 70mm drive unit, soft and confortable padding with 24Ω impedance, 106dB/mW output sound pressure and a 2-30,000Hz frequency response.
The other two models, the MDR-XB41EX and MDR-XB21EX, are in-hear headphones with a 13.5mm Driver unit for the first one and 9mm for the second one. Both models come with a 16Ω impedance and a 105dB/mW sound pressure for the XB41EX and 103dB/mW for the XB21EX.

Sony announces two new IC Recorders with the AX412F and BX312

Sony announced a pair of entry lever IC Recorders with the AX412F recording and playing Mp3 Files, with 2GB of internal memory and both microSD and M2 Support. IC Recorder AX412F also include a Stereo Mic, FM Radio and Radio recoding mode as well as several other audio and recording modes as well as features.
The BX312 in the other hands come with a Mono Mic only and not FM Radio Tuner and Radio recording mode.

New Psp 2

With rumors heating up that Sony may soon unveil its next-generation PlayStation Portable gaming console, the PSP2, we thought it would be fun to take a look at the various concept designs folks have been posting on the Internet over the last couple of years.

Of course, some of the concepts are pretty far-fetched, but hey, give credit to the artists for letting their imaginations run wild.
